 A native of South Korea, YeDam Kim holds B.M. and M.M. in Violin Performance from the University of Kentucky, where she was a Graduate Teaching Assistant, studying with professor Daniel Mason. 

 Ms. Kim served as a member of the University of Kentucky’s graduate resident string quartet, the Niles string quartet, and the Volare string quartet and frequently appeared as a concertmaster for the University of Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, and a substitute violinist for the Lexington Philharmonic.

 Ms. Kim's musical journey has included appearing on Brevard summer music festival, International conductor’s festival (Guest artist), Danville, KY, and Festival de musique de Pâques, Deauville, France, Prague Summer Nights, Florence Art Expo, as well as masterclasses with Nathan Cole, Andrés Cárdenes, Alex Kerr, David Kim, Stephen Rose, Josef Špaček, and Ilya Kaler.

 In addition to being a soloist and chamber musician, Ms. Kim is a dedicated teacher and committed to teaching all ages. She has taught over 10 years privately in South Korea and the USA.
